The Ace Visuals collection · Vol. 01

A study in seeing.

Three little worlds, one curious eye.
Collected one frame at a time.

The person behind the lens

First, I looked to the sky.

My story with photography began when a friend introduced me to a DSLR and a 300mm lens for plane spotting. That first look through the viewfinder made me curious about how much more there was to notice in the world around me.

My Pa and Dad have been there to encourage me and help me get what I need to keep learning. Dad gave me my first basic Nikon, and with their support I saved for a Canon 1200D before moving on to a Canon 80D and a Sigma 150–600mm lens. Their help has meant a lot—not just in the equipment, but in giving me the confidence to keep practising, trying new things, and following my interest in photography.

Over time, I began exploring beyond planes and plane spotting, finding stories in street scenes, beautiful cars, and portraits. Every shoot teaches me something new about patience, light, and seeing a moment in a different way. At 16, I’m still at the beginning of my journey, learning with every photograph and working hard to improve. I hope to keep growing as a photographer, create work that feels meaningful, and make my parents proud of how far their encouragement has helped me come. Ace Visuals is where I bring these points of view together and share the photographs I’m proud of.

Always learning. Always looking. — Aljasrey
